- Supervisee Specialization: I have been working with children for the past 3 years, in the child welfare and domestic violence fields. I am currently interviewing to be an academic advisor/guidance counselor in a private high school. I do individual and group counseling, I haven't done much family therapy.
- Type of Supervision: I need supervison to be able to take the LPCP exam. The agency I currently work for does not have anyone who is a LPCP or LCSW. I am also looking for supervision away from my agency because of some differences in philosophy that I have with my current supervisor and I don't feel comfortable discussing those issues within the agency. I waould like someone with an outside perspective.
- Services Seeking: I live on the north-side of Chicago. I work on the south side of the city. I am willing to travel within the Chicago area, even to Oak Park, Brookfield, or other suburbs close to the Chicago city limits. I do not need on-site supervision. I am available Monday, Thursday and Friday 6pm or later, Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and noon, and on Saturdays. I would prefer individual supervison.
- Payment: I would be paying out-of-pocket (cash or check), as my current agency can't pay for my outside supervison.
