Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association

Supervision Exchange

The IMHCA Supervision Exchange is a free service now available to all mental health practitioners, providing information about supervision opportunities. The Exchange is a posting on the IMHCA website, listing information for mental health practitioners seeking or offering supervision services. The Exchange will provide a central location where practitioners wishing to provide supervision can post their contact information, and for those seeking supervision to locate potential supervisors in their area. Supervisees may also register on the website and post their contact information. This will be an Internet Only Service - it will not be available through our office phone lines or by mail. This service will be free.

IMHCA will not be screening or qualifying participants in either group. The Exchange simply provides an opportunity for supervisors and supervisees to contact each other; each practitioner must determine if the other is a good match. Licensure and disciplinary status information for practitioners in the State of Illinois is available at the website for the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
