Illinois Department of Professional Regulation will send you by mail a renewal form. They will send a renewal application to your current address. To check your address or change it go to the same website. |
The renewal application will have a question concerning your obtaining the correct number of continuing education hours. You do not send in your certificates of completion. You answer the question as to whether you have completed the number of hours. Keep your certificates on file from everything you attended. IDPR does audit some renewals. | ||

Counselors (LPC or LCPC) will need to have completed 30 CE's every 2 years at renewal time. |

Counselor Licensure Renewal
All Counselor licenses expire in March of odd years. So licenses will need to be renewed in March 2009.
